Donald E. Weaver "Skeets", 83, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 at home with his loving family by his side. He was born, raised and lived in Fieldsboro all of his life. He was an Army Veteran during the Korean War and retired from the Department of Transportation for the State of New Jersey after over 25 years. Donald was also part of the Peppler Funeral Home family and helped with his services for many years.

He was a Commander for the American Legion Post #349 of Fieldsboro for over 30 years, was a member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085, The Mt. Moriah Lodge # 28 F&AM of Bordentown and the Valley of Central Jersey AASR of Bordentown and was a member of the Fieldsboro United Methodist Church.

Predeceased by his parents Walter and Nan Weaver and his many brothers and sisters, he is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Rita, his son and daughter-in-law, John and Sharon Weaver, his special grandchildren, Ashley, Kelly and John Weaver, his brother Clinton Weaver all of Fieldsboro, his sister-in-law, Ann Weaver of Delran, many close nieces and nephews and his dear friend, William Stanton Jr. of Fieldsboro.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Thursday, March 19 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Interment will follow in Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton Township. Friends may call from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Fieldsboro United Methodist Church, 200 2nd Street, Bordentown, NJ 08505 or to VNA Health Group, 204 Creek Crossing Blvd., Hainesport, NJ 08036.
