Donald S. Sprague, 83, of Columbus, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Born in Miami, FL, he was a life-long resident of Allentown, NJ, prior to moving to Homestead. A US Army veteran serving during the Korean War, Donald was a member and past president of the Hope Fire Company of Allentown, a former Allentown Borough Councilman, a member of the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085 BPOE, the American Legion Post # 31 and the Allentown Methodist Church.

Predeceased by his parents Hazel and Sterling Sprague and his beloved wife of 58 years, Doris Sprague (nee Allen), he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Louise and William Shanfield of Robbinsville; his nephew, Wayne Dunfee and his wife, Cheryl of Rahway; his niece, Linda A. Bosse and her husband, Anthony of Naugatuck, CT; his great niece, Victoria Bosse and her fiancé, Jeremy; his great nephew, Joseph Bosse and his wife, Christa and their son Ezra of Naugatuck, CT; his sister-in-law, Hila Egyd and her husband, Louis of Bordentown; his brother-in-law, Jack Allen and his wife, Gloria of Oregon and a number of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Friday, November 29th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St, Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Emley's Hill Cemetery.
