Donald J. Hutchinson 84, of Hightstown, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Hamilton. Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime area resident. A US Army veteran, Donald drove for Scott Brothers Trucking and was a member of Teamsters Local #701. After his retirement, he farmed in the area for many years and was a member of the Farm Family Bureau. Donald was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and Stock Car Racing.

Son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Hutchinson and predeceased by his sister, Ruth Lieber; he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Marietta Hutchinson; his niece, Lois Smith, his nephew Scott Taylor and his sister-in-law, Marilyn Quijano.

Funeral Service will be held 11:30am on Friday, February 17th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. Doug Hughes will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8pm and again Friday from 10:30am until the time of service at the funeral home.
