, 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 7, 2025 at Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro Township, NJ. Born in New Milford, NJ, he had lived in Hackensack and spent many years in Rutherford prior to moving to Millstone Twp in 1993. He was lifelong printer who began his career at the Bergen Record. He enjoyed cooking and grilling while being surrounded by friends and family. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy. He will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by his parents James and Henrietta Catogge and his beloved wife Louise C. Catogge he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Mark Maiorano of Columbus, his grandchildren: Mark Andrew Maiorano and his wife Gina of Manalapan and Stephanie Anne Johnson and her husband Korey of Chesterfield. Three great grandchildren: Gianna and Micah Johnson and Benson Maiorano, his sister Dolores Byrnes of Collegeville, PA and another three sisters and two brothers and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering with the family will be held Wednesday December 10 from 12 to 2 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
