Obituary

Donald F. Bott, 79, of Allentown, passed away Thursday March 20th at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Jersey City, he was a longtime Allentown area resident. A US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Bott earned his bachelors degree from St. Peter's College in Jersey City. He retired after 30 years of service from Kimberly Clark in Spotswood and was a manager for many years at the Spotswood Federal Employees Credit Union. Mr. Bott was a member of St. John's Church in Allentown and was very active in its committees including the Holy Name Society and the Knights of Columbus.

Husband of the late Elizabeth Bott, he was predeceased by his daughter, Maryann Bott. He is survived by his children, Donna Graham and her husband Robert of Allentown, Francis Bott of Allentown, Kathleen Wood and her husband David of New Egypt, Peter Bott of Allentown and Margaret Bott of Brick; a sister, Margaret Donnelly of Beachwood; grandchildren, Kristin, Rob and Tim Graham, David, Derek, Andrew and Kyle Wood and Robert and Michael Haker; a brother-in-law, Thomas Flaherty of Spring Lake as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Tuesday at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Rd. Allentown. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Monday 7-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
