Donald R. Ash, 91, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at The Clare Estates in Bordentown. Born in Sergeantsville, NJ he was raised and lived in Trenton before moving to Bordentown Township 65 years ago.

Don was a graduate of Trenton Central High School Class of 1946. He was an Army Veteran and served in Okinawa, Japan during the Korean War. He later retired from RCA/GE of Moorestown, NJ and drove a school bus for the Bordentown Regional School District.

Predeceased by his parents William and Elizabeth Ash, he is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Helen V. Ash (nee Holloway), his children: David Ash of Bordentown, Richard Ash of Edmonds, WA and Donna Ash of Bordentown. His granddaughter: Jennifer Ash and her husband Erik McFarland of Sammamish, WA. His brother and sister-in-law: Robert and Clodagh of Bellevue, WA and sister: Betty Kruppa of Longwood, FL as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Saturday, November 2 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call from 1:30 pm until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: The Githens Center, 40 Cedar St, Mt. Holly, NJ 08060 or to Hope Hose Humane Co. No. 1, 150 W.
