Obituary

Dino J. Loretangeli, 74, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Born in Bordentown, he was a member of this community until moving to Columbus 7 years ago. A.US Army Veteran; Dino retired from the New Jersey Turnpike Authority after 38 years of service. During his time at the New Jersey Turnpike Authority he was president of the Local #194 for 15 years and a few years prior to his retirement he worked on the Labor Relations Committee. Dino was a member of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and the Bordentown Elks Lodge #2085 BPOE. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and often enjoyed watching his grandchildren play soccer on the weekends. He also was an avid fan of the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame University.

Son of the late Sante and Florinda Loretangeli (nee Cumola), he is survived by his wife of 48 years, Catherine M. Loretangeli (nee Sefransky); his son and daughter-in-law, Sante and Jackie Loretangeli; three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Carl Paglione, Carol and Steve D'Ilio and Kathy and Dave Field all of Burlington Twp.; three brothers, Frank and his wife Pat, Fred and Earl Loretangeli and his sister Yolanda Foley all of Bordentown; eight grandchildren, Taylor and Karissa Paglione, Connor and Alexa D'Ilio, Justin and Jordan Loretangeli and Kate and Brenna Field.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Monday at St. Mary's Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Family and friends may call Sunday evening 6 to 9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown and again Monday morning 9:30 to 10:30 am at the funeral home, prior to Mass.
