Diane L. Johnson, 68, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at her home with her family by her side.
Born in Trenton, she was a member of the Fieldsboro Community for many years prior to moving to Roebling six years ago. She along with her siblings were co-owners and operators of Hegyi's Liquor Store in Fieldsboro. Diane and her husband were also owner/operators of Shear Performance Beauty Shop of Fieldsboro and Performance Automotive in Berlin, NJ. She enjoyed crafts, especially making jewelry, and was quite a bargain hunter. Diane was a caring, self-less individual who helped raise her siblings, loved her children and would go out of her way for her grandchildren, she will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by her parents, Frank and Sarah Hegyi, her husband, David Johnson and granddaughter, Sarah E. Johnson, she is survived by her beloved daughter, Dana M. Johnson and her fiancé Chris Zuckowich of Roebling, and her beloved son and daughter-in-law, David M. and Jennifer Johnson of Clayton, NC. Her siblings, Jack Hegyi and his wife Laura, Rick Hegyi and his wife Janet and Pamela Hegyi.5 Three grandchildren, Nicholas and Christopher Zuckowich and Sofia Grace Johnson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service celebrating Diane's life will be held 11 am Saturday, March 5 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 10:30 till time of service at the funeral home.
