Obituary

Diana S. Corrington, 78, formerly of the Allentown - Cream Ridge area, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 18, 2026, at Capital Health hospital in Trenton. Diana was born on October 4, 1947, in Trenton, raised in the Hightstown area, and was a graduate of Hightstown High School. She continued her education at West Virgina Wesleyan College, graduating with a BA and working as a teacher before staying home to raise her two children. She worked part-time jobs in Allentown while her children were young and later took a full-time role as an Administrative Assistant for professors and staff at Rutgers University, where her supportive nature was highly valued. A woman of faith, Diana was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Allentown. She contributed generously to her congregation, particularly as a dedicated Sunday school teacher. Her involvement in church life was matched by her passion for gardening, her love for the beach, and most of all, her unwavering devotion to her family.

Diana was the daughter of the late Harold Straley and Clara English Thomas, whose values of faith, kindness, and resilience were embedded in her character.

Diana’s memory will be cherished by her family including her sister, Pamela Varone; her two steps sisters, Susan Kelley and Eileen Jones, her son, Glenn Corrington, and daughter-in-law, Holly Corrington; her daughter, Pamela Khoury; her grandson, Maxwell Corrington; and her granddaughters, Juliet Corrington, Greta Keim, and Tess Keim.

Friends and family are invited to honor Diana’s life and legacy on Friday, July 24, 2006. A viewing will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main Street in Allentown, NJ. The funeral service will start at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment held at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton Township.
