Dennis C. Medford, 84, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019 at his home. Born on the island of St. Vincent in the British West Indies, Dennis resided in Queens, NY prior to moving to Franklin Square where he lived for over 30 years. A computer programmer he was a hard worker who believed that you could do anything if you put in the work. He was fearless and inspired his family to follow their paths with tenacity, dedication and focus and was a great influence for anyone that needed support or encouragement. He was quick witted and didn't sugar coat things. Dennis was a strong man who loved the outdoors and being in nature. Above all, he was a dedicated and loving husband, father and grandfather.

Son of the late Aaron and Omie Medford, he was predeceased by his siblings, Julian, Dodney and Anita. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Maria Medford; his son and daughter-in-law, David and Denise Medford; his daughter, Denise Medford; his grandchildren who called him "Pop", David, Olivia and Alexander. Dennis is also survived by his siblings, Jean Poulos, Angela Velez and Kent, Jonathon, David, Louie and John Medford and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am on Wednesday, October 30 ^th at St. John the Baptist Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.  A visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4pm and again from 6-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
