Denise P. Hammerstone, 69, of Cream Ridge, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, her 49th wedding anniversary to her beloved husband, Mike. She was at home, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Affectionately known as "Blondee", Denise was born in Flushing, Queens.  She attended Rutgers University to advance her career with the State of New Jersey and retired in 2013 as Assistant Director of Administration and Deputy Director of Operations.  She also formerly served as the president of the Governmental Purchasing Association of New Jersey.

After her retirement, Denise enjoyed traveling the country with her husband in their RV.  She enjoyed flowers and gardening and took pride in maintaining a beautiful (and well organized) home. She was an amazing woman with a generous heart and made an impression on everyone she met.  She was loved by many.  Denise's greatest joy was her family, and she loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and siblings dearly.

Daughter of the late Michael and Adele Lynch, she was predeceased by her friend, sister-in-law, and "Warrior Sister", Cindy Lynch.  Denise is survived by her loving husband, Michael Hammerstone; her children, Michael Hammerstone and his wife Amanda and Heather Rossi and her husband Michael Guza; her grandchildren, Enzo Antonio Rossi, Zachary Michael and Greyson James Hammerstone, and Ethan and Isabella Beck; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Stephanie, Brian and Linda, Donnie and Cathy, and Tim Lynch; her sister and best friend, Kate Priyamvada; her good friends, Michelle and Marie; her faithful furry friends, Molly, Oliver and Charlotte; as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, May 23rd from 6-8pm and Wednesday May 24th from 1-3pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.
