Delmar N. Fenton, Sr., 69, of Allentown passed away March 26, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton. He was born in Allentown and had resided much of his life in Bordentown. Del had retired from Lockheed-Martin in Newton, PA. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Bordentown and was a life member and exempt fireman of Hope Hose-Humane Co. # 1. He was formally a member of the Jersey Devils Drum and Bugle Corps and had served as a Special Police Officer with the Bordentown City P.D.
Husband of the late June Fenton, he is survived by 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Delmar, Jr. of Florida, Michael and Sharon of Groveville, Stephen of California and Jeffrey and Roberta of Allentown; a sister, Carol Hensley of Bordentown, 5 grand-children, Logan, Mackenzie, Nicholas, Mikala and Cheyenne; special nieces and nephews, Shannon and Jeff Foster, Forrest and Kelly Hensley and several other nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 8:00 P.M. from the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown where friends may call from 6:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Cremation will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Hope Hose-Humane Co. # 1, 150 W. Burlington Street, Bordentown, N.J. 08505. A special "Thank You" to the staff at 6-M at Capital Health at Hopewell.
