Dawne Louise Baker

Dawne Louise Baker, 87, of New Egypt, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her family. Born in Hightstown, she worked at Hightstown Agway for several years before marrying her husband, Harvey. Following her marriage, Dawne focused on raising her family, caring for her home, and helping her husband with the farm. A true animal lover, especially of her house pets and ponies, Dawne enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. In her free time, she loved sudoku and puzzles.

Daughter of the late George P. and Mildred Throckmorton, Dawne was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Harvey W. Baker Sr. and by her son, Harvey W. Baker Jr. She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kris and Corky Danch; her granddaughters, Alia Baker Danch and her husband, Lorian Delman and Zoë Danch and her fiancé Tim Ziegler and her great granddaughter, Ophelia Rose Danch-Delman.

Services will be private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
