Dawn E. Wasilewski, 52, of New Egypt, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023.  Born in Trenton, she grew up in New Egypt and was a graduate of Allentown High School.  She and her husband David resided in Sayreville for many years and recently moved back to New Egypt.  Dawn worked for Marie H. Katzenbach School for the Deaf for several years before stopping to raise her family.  Full of life, Dawn was fun to be around.  During her spare time she enjoyed word searches and meditative coloring.  Above all, Dawn was a devoted mother who loved her children and grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Daniel Gilliland, she is survived by her mother, Beverly Gilliland; her loving husband, David Wasilewski; her children, Amanda Flores and her husband Fabian, Chris Karas, Taylor Wasilewski, and David Wasilewski, Jr.; her grandchildren, Michael Ciccone Jr., Jordan Morales, Payton McCarty, and one on the way.  Dawn is also survived by her siblings and their spouse, Gregory and Terry Alloway, Gary and Joan Alloway, Dana Williams, Dwayne and Karen Howland, Darren and Joyce Gilliland, Dean Gilliland, and Darlene and Jimmy Lakatas as well as many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held Saturday, November 25th from 10am to 1pm with a service to begin at 1pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in Cream Ridge Cemetery.
