Dawn Marie Titmas, 78, of Allentown, NJ, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 after spending a joyous Thanksgiving with her family. Born in Garfield, NJ, she resided in Wayne and Long Beach Island prior to moving to Four Seasons nine years ago.

Daughter of the late Douglas and Helen Sauter, she is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Jack Titmas.

Dawn kept journals throughout her life and wrote that she thought of her family as flowers in the garden of life with each one a unique gift from God. She was happiest during simple family dinners, holiday celebrations, and summers on LBI. Dawn was proud of each family member and considered them her ultimate legacy.  She leaves behind her two beloved daughters and son-in-law, Robin and Kevin Larkin of Allentown and Kim Titmas and John Luberza of Wayne, NJ; her two beloved sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Beatrice Titmas of Old Bridge and Jonathan and Toniann Titmas of Union; six grandchildren, Kristin Masker and her husband Jeff, Erin Larkin, Scott Titmas Jr, Christopher Titmas, Douglas Titmas and Elia Titmas and four great grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Jeffrey Jr, and Jacob Masker.

Dawn also devoted her life to friends and community. She provided pastoral care at Wayne General Hospital and was a volunteer for the Passaic Valley Hospice for ten years. She was an Elder at the Preakness Reformed Church of Wayne, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Allentown Presbyterian Church, where she was a youth mentor.

Dawn was a registered nurse and member of the Paterson General Nurse Association. She worked for over twenty five years as the full time office manager for Wayne Obstetrical Group.

A memorial service celebrating Dawn's life will be held on December 15 ^th , at 10:00 AM, at Allentown Presbyterian Church, 20 High St., Allentown, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Youth Center, c/o Allentown Presbyterian Church, P.O.
