David Seplavich of Bordentown, NJ passed away peacefully at home, leaving behind a life not defined by grand attention, but by the steady presence, quiet routines, and the deep bonds he shared with those closest to him.

Born in Washington DC, David spent part of his childhood in Portsmouth, NH, before the United States Air Force relocated his father to McGuire Air Force Base, which brought the family to Bordentown. David graduated from Bordentown Regional High School in 1969 then he continued his education at Rutgers University.

David lived a simple and peaceful life, finding joy in the simple things he loved most. An avid golfer, he treasured his time spent on the course with lifelong friends. His evenings were often reserved for watching Jeopardy, where he especially enjoyed the nightly tradition of challenging his longtime friend Lee with the Final Jeopardy question. It was one of many small but meaningful rituals that brought him happiness.

He also shared a daily dose of friendly competition with his sister, Rita as the two played Wordle then compared their final results- a simple game that became a cherished connection between them.

David was preceded in death by his parents, William and Cecilia Seplavich, his brother Bill, and his faithful canine companion, Jack.

He is survived by his loving sister Rita Gravatt, his brother in law, Jay Keating, his Nieces Melissa Gravatt, Melaney Loose, and their families;and his lifelong best friend Ron Kolodziej, his wife Edie, and their family.

David may have led a quiet life, but within that quiet was a loyalty, humor, consistency, and love. He found contentment in familiar places, treasured friendships that lasted a lifetime, and family connections that remained strong through the years. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
