Obituary

David Parker of Midwest City, Oklahoma, passed away suddenly on February 6th at the age of 61.

Son of the late Kathryn and Richard Parker, Dave was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 18th, 1961.  After high school he chose to serve his country and had a proud career as a jet engine mechanic in the United States Air Force.  After retiring from the Air Force in 2004, Dave continued his service to the Air Force as a consultant with Pratt and Whitney until his retirement in October 2022.  He was proud to serve part of that career as a consultant with the USAF Thunderbirds, allowing him to travel all over the world.

Despite his worldly travels, Dave stuck to his roots when it came to sports and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.  He celebrated his 60th birthday taking his grandkids to their first Phillies game and there wasn't a football Sunday that passed without him watching the Eagles (Go birds!)

Dave is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Christine Parker; his son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Amy Parker; his daughter and son-in-law, Hannah Parker and Nathan Uhlig and his two beloved grandchildren, Benjamin and Alison.  He is also survived by his seven brothers and sisters, their spouses, and his many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service and military honors will be held 12 noon on Monday, February 20th at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Friends may call from 10am until the time of the service.
