David S. Kimmelman, 93, of Bordentown Township passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at his home with his loved ones by his side. Born and raised in Passaic, NJ, David was a resident of the Bordentown area for over 50 years, where he and his wife Sarah owned and operated the Bordentown Service Center (Texaco). He had a sarcastic wit and loved making puns. He loved working on his cars, motorcycles, and boats, and in his vegetable garden, specializing in homegrown Jersey tomatoes. He was a member of the Bordentown Yacht Club, and later sailed to the Chesapeake with his good buddy Jack Duffy. He also loved music and enjoyed collecting records and CDs. Later in life, he enjoyed driving to the shore with his good friend Patty O'Neil.

Predeceased by his parents Abraham and Pearl Kimmelman, and his wife Sarah Kimmelman, David is survived by his daughter Shirley Harrison, his grandchildren Miriam Newman, and Nathan and Lauren Newman.

A Celebration of Life for David will be held Monday, November 27 from 3 to 5 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. in Bordentown. Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
