Obituary

David J. Johnson, 62, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly.

Born and raised in Hamilton Township, he had lived in Fieldsboro for many years before to moving to Berlin and finally Roebling. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard, was the owner operator of ""Shear Performance"" Barber Shop in Wrightstown and Performance Automotive of Berlin, NJ. He was a volunteer member of Decou Hose Company of Hamilton and a member of the Gothic Lodge # 270 F&AM and the Trenton Forest #4 Tall Cedars of Lebanon.

Son of the late John R. Johnson and grandfather of the late Sarah Elizabeth Johnson, he is survived by his mother Alma Mae Johnson (nee Jenkins), his wife Diane L. Johnson (nee Hegyi), his son, David M. Johnson and his fiancé Jennifer Coffaro of Berlin, his daughter Dana Johnson and Chris Zuckowich of Roebling, a sister Judith Johnson of Browns Mills, two brothers-in-law, John Hegyi and his wife Laura of Atco and Richard Hegyi and his wife Janet of Palmyra, a sister-in-law, Pamela Hegyi of Budtown, four grandchildren, Christopher Zuckowich, Joseph Coffaro, James Elsbree and Peter LeoGrande and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be 1 pm Monday, October 11 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Family and friends may call from 11 am until time of services at the funeral home.
