David I. Holt, 80, of Cream Ridge, passed away Wednesday at his home. Born in Trenton, David resided in Hamilton Twp. for 15 years before moving to Cream Ridge 40 years ago. A WWII, Army veteran, David was employed by ACME for 33 years and later the Monmouth County Highway Department for 17 years.

Son of the late David Holt and Ethel Baum Holt Doran, he is survived by his wife of 54 years, Florence Holt; his son David B. Holt and several cousins.

Funeral Service will be held Monday 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. Patrick Castles will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Byzantine Cemetery, Hamilton Twp. Friends may call Monday 10am until the time of service.
