David A. Hicks, 48, of Cream Ridge, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Born in Neptune, he grew up in New Egypt and was a long time Cream Ridge resident. An Allentown High School graduate, David was employed by PSE&G and was a member of the Teamsters Local #35 and the IBEW. He was a talented man and was affectionately referred to as "Mr. Fix It". He was a loving father, husband, son and brother.

Son of the late Larry Hicks, David is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Lori Hicks; his beloved daughter, Courtney Madison Hicks; his mother, Mary Lou Whiting; his mother-in-law, Linda Wright; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harry and Meg Wright as well as his nephew and nieces, Sean, Natalie and Lauren Wright and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held 10:30 am on Monday, December 29th at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, 28 High St, Allentown. The Rev. Dr. Stephen Heinzel-Nelson will officiate. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 pm to 5pm on Sunday, December 28th at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown.
