Obituary

David Goldstein, 94, of Jackson, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Jackson.  Born in Hightstown, he was an Army Veteran and later became owner/operater of the Hights Pharmacy there for over 26 years. He was a member of the American Legion, Jewish War Veterans, Hightstown Elks and also a volunteer for the Red Cross. David was the chairman of the March of Dimes, a past President of Beth-El Synagogue and President of the NJH.

Husband of 53 years to the late Helen (Leshin) Goldstein; he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Karen Goldstein of Howell; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Joseph Anghelone of Cream Ridge and Marion and Peter Mnych of Cranbury; four grandchildren, Ryan and his wife Leslie Anghelone, Sarah Anghelone, Jay Goldstein and Rebecca Mnych.

Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Tuesday, November 1st at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main Street, Allentown. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
