David Bromley, age76, passed peacefully from complications due to congestive heart failure. He surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday September 19 at his daughters home in Columbus, NJ.
Born of parents Joseph I. Bromley and Mary R. (Slesser) Bromley at their home on October 11, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. Dave grew-up of the Mennonite faith in Kensington with 8 siblings. As a child he enjoyed playing half-ball, baseball, and soccer. He was a US Marine during the Korean War and spent a large part of that time State-side playing baseball for them.
Survived by his sweetheart of 16 years Peggy Leiter of Yardley, PA; Three loving daughters and two sons-in-law, Cheryl and Mark Taylor, Leanne Miccio, and Jill and Scott Steele; 7 grandchildren, Christopher and Brian Lamm, Abigail Taylor, Keith and William Miccio, and Amanda and Jessica Steele; one great-grand son Hunter. Dave was also survived by his sister Bernice Rhea of Levittown, PA and Brother Mark Bromley of Philadelphia; many niece and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, 1:30 pm at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, NJ. All those wishing to attend may meet 10 minutes prior to service in parking area near the main entrance. Memorial donations may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O.
