Daniel Borocz Jr., passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010, three days shy of his 90th birthday, at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold. Born in Trenton, he resided in the Chesterfield-Bordentown area most of his life. Daniel served in the Coast Guard during WWII and later retired as an automotive supervisor from PSE&G of Lawrenceville. He was a 4-H leader and enjoyed camping and winters in Florida.
Son of the late Daniel and Rosa Borocz (nee Kish), husband of the late Ruth Borocz (nee Nixon) and brother of the late Francis and Louis Borocz, Mary Ingling, Rose Oros, Helen Branin and Margaret Pierce; he is survived by his son, James Borocz and his wife Joan of New Egypt and his daughter, Jeanne Ruth Mann of Port St. Lucie, FL; a brother, Jul Borocz of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Karen Rhoades and her husband Patric, Barbara Hartel and her husband Mark and Christopher Mann and his wife Gina; four great grandchildren, Chloe and Phoebe Mann and Michael and Mitchell Hartel; step-grandchildren, Donna Lindsey and her husband Philip and Karen Stewart and her husband Scott; step-great grandchildren, P.J. and Dara Lindsey and Alex and Laura Stewart. Daniel is also survived by two special nieces, Linda Bloom and Joan C. Borocz as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Monday, March 1st at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Twp. Friends may call Sunday afternoon 4pm until 7 pm at the funeral home.
