Danelia Matthews, affectionately known as Nicki, 96, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Serenity Hospice in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime area resident.  Nicki worked for New Jersey Bell for several years before leaving to raise her family.  She enjoyed going to the shore and entertaining her friends and family during the holidays. She loved children and was a very generous and loving woman.

Daughter of the late Claude and Marie Bamford, she was predeceased by her brother, William Bamford and her sister, Virginia Hohmann. Nicki is survived by two daughters, Danelia B. McNeil (Bill), and Beth Ayres; her grandson and love of her life, Kyle Ayres; her sister, Jean Viola and her brother, George Bamford and his wife Lorena.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 26th from 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown.  Cremation will be private.
