Dan Zorovich of Millbrae, CA, passed away on April 17, 2023. He was 88 years old.

Born in Nerezine, Croatia, Dan immigrated to the United States with his parents and siblings in 1954. Dan earned his bachelor's degree in physics from the University of Miami and went on to earn an MBA from Monmouth University. The majority of his career was spent working in Mechanical Engineering. He retired from Johnson & Johnson in 2001 after 27 years of employment. He was a longtime resident of Allentown, NJ before moving to Millbrae in 2022.

While living in Allentown, Dan was an active member of the community and volunteered for over 30 years as a member of the environmental commission and planning board. He coached soccer when his children were young. He also served on the Borough Council from 2004-2011. He was a talented woodworker and handyman and in his retirement, he and his wife, Mary, enjoyed traveling, volunteer work and attending events at his church's 50+ club where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a member of the Princeton Freewheelers bicycle club and rode over 140 miles a week into his 80's. When he could no longer ride his bike, he helped repair bicycles for the Bike Exchange through the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County. He also loved to ski and sail.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Dan was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Mary Zorovich in 2011.  He is survived by his three children, Julie Krein and her husband Stephen, Ken Zorovich and his wife Jackie, and Tara Zorovich and her partner Suzie Gleeson; his seven grandchildren, Allison, Colleen and Sean Krein and Evan, Wesley, Eleanor and Tyler Zorovich; his siblings Fred and Eugene Zorovich and Carmen Gaffney.

A visitation will be held at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main Street, Allentown, NJ on May 5 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on May 6 at St. John's Catholic Church, 1282 Allentown-Yardville Road in Allentown. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dan's name to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County (bgcmercer.org).
