Colleen Lisa Cooke, 52 of Freehold, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, surrounded by her family. Born in San Fernado on the "sweet island" of Trinidad, she moved to the US in 2001.  Colleen was a caring and compassionate caregiver and worked for Comfort Care in Freehold for several years.  She was an excellent cook, loved listening to music, and doing hair.  Funny, kind, and loving, Colleen was a devoted mother to her sons and was a true friend to many.

Daughter of the late Rita Cooke, she is survived by Brian Crichlow, who was her closest friend and father of her sons.  Colleen is also survived by her sons, Hollister Aaron Cooke and Brian Terrel Cooke; her father, Collins Cooke; brothers, Edward Leon Cooke and Elton Gary Cooke; sister, Kathleen Beddoe; grandchildren, Kallea Ave Cooke, Kaia Kensley Cooke, and Brian Terrel Cooke; sisters-in-law Jackie Cooke and Helen Cooke; cousin, Lisa Simon; nieces and nephew, Akeem Cooke, Desiree Cooke, Jordyn Cooke, and Ciera Cooke; as well as many other relatives including the Simon and Cooke families.

A viewing will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 from 12-1:30pm with a funeral service to begin at 1:30pm at the Monmouth Worship Center, 37 Vanderburg Rd., Marlboro, NJ 07746.  Interment will follow in Adelphia Cemetery.
