Clement A. Toporek, 84, of Robbinsville, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Dorrance, PA, he was a graduate of Allentown High School. A U.S Veteran, Clem served in the Merchant Marines during World War II and served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Clem retired in 1990 as a Carpenter and was a member of Union Local 31. He was a member of the Holy Cross Post 417 Catholic War Vets and was a member of St. Gregory the Great Parish in Hamilton. He was a forester and loved nature. Clem will be remembered as a hard worker and a loving husband and father.
Son of the late Felix and Josephine Toporek, Clem is survived by his wife of 58 years, Eleanor; his children, Thomas Toporek and his wife Carol of Allentown, Cynthia Valentine and her husband, Jerry Lee of Whitesburg, TN and Daniel Toporek of Exton, PA; a brother, James Toporek and his wife Patricia of Clarksburg; a sister, Geraldine Britton of FL as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11am Saturday, September 1 st at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton. Interment will be held in St. John's Cemetery, Allentown.
