Obituary

Clark ""Dick"" R. Hewitt, 80, of Burlington, passed away Saturday at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Burlington. Born in Pennsauken, he was a lifetime resident of the area before moving to the Masonic Home in Burlington four years ago. A US Army Veteran, Mr. Hewitt retired as a bricklayer from Local Union # 1 John B. Kelly in Philadelphia. He was a lifetime member of the Merchantville Baptist Church, a member of Merchantville Lodge # 119 F. & A.M. and the Shriners.

Son of the late Clark and Margaret Hewitt and brother of the late James Hewitt. He is survived by his wife, Doris J. Markley Hewitt; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Clark R. Hewitt, Jr.; Scott Hewitt both of Pennsauken and Ross and Jandee Hewitt of Westmont; a brother, Robert Hewitt of Ohio; a sister, Margaret Procacci of Pennsauken; two grandchildren, Andrew and Winston Hewitt; a niece Carol Houck of Marlton and two grandnieces, Alison and Jessica Houck.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday 7:30pm at the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd. Burlington. A Masonic Services will be held at 7pm. Friends may call Wednesday 6-7pm at the Chapel. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
