Clara Mae Miller, 90, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Hamilton Township. Born in Louisville, KY, she moved to Bordentown in 1937. Clara was raised in Bordentown and graduated in 1949 from the Mercer School of Nursing becoming a Registered Nurse, retiring in 1993 from the Garden State Correctional Facility in Yardville, NJ. She then started her family in Trenton, NJ before moving to Bucks County, PA, and returning to Bordentown and the surrounding areas for the remainder of her life. Clara was a 43 year member of Alcoholics Anonymous. She was very close with her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by her parents, Delbert and Juanita Davis and her husband Frank Roy Miller Jr., she is survived by her children: Marilyn Krapf and her husband Gary of Manakin Sabot, VA, F. Roy Miller III of Arizona and Nancy Potash and her husband Ronald of Bordentown Township. Her brother: Delbert Davis Jr and his wife Joyce of Bordentown, her sister: Gloria Thomas and her husband James of Columbus. Grandchildren: Kristen and Duncan Campbell, Daniel and Sarah Krapf, Brandon and Jasmin Krapf, Janice and Jack Nosek, Shannon Potash and Matthew Potash. Great grandchildren: James and Brooks Campbell, Hudson, Presley, Miller, Remington, Bronte, Violet and Harper Krapf, Addison Nosek and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:30 am Monday, July 2 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call from 9:30 am until time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society, PO Box 4527, New York, NY 10163.
