Claire S. Allen, 87, died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Paul Kimble Medical Center in Lakewood. Born on May 19th, 1922 in Trenton, she was a long time resident of Bordentown Township before moving to Manchester, NJ 38 years ago.
Daughter of the late Richard and Sarah McGarvey (nee Smith) and wife of the late Walter C. Allen, she is survived by her daughter, Sarah Allen Hreha of Florence, NJ; a son, Walter C. Allen of Ocean County; a sister, Jane Philips of Yardville, NJ and a nephew, Richard Weber of Princeton Junction, NJ.
Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in her name
