Christine Roesel 97, of Lawrenceville, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 at her home. Born in Hersbruck, Germany, she moved to the United States in 1949 with her late husband Otto. They resided in Sunnyside, New York for many years, before moving to Lawrenceville in 2004. Mrs. Roesel retired from Henri Bendel in New York where she worked for over 30 years. She loved to travel and would make an annual trip to Europe. Mrs. Roesel loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Predeceased during WWII by her first husband, Hans Ludwig; she was predeceased in 2008 by her second husband, Otto Roesel; she is survived by her daughter, Helga Murray of Lawrenceville; her granddaughter, Kirsten Howell and her husband Edmund of Allentown and three great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Ryan and Abigail, all of Allentown.

A viewing will be held from 11am to 12:30 pm with a funeral service to be held at 12:30pm on Tuesday, October 4th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
