Christine "Crissy" Monahan, 53, of Crosswicks, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she resided in Staten Island for many years, before moving to the Chesterfield area in 2006.  Crissy worked for Staten Island Savings Bank for several years and later as an office manager for Hamilton Dental Arts.  She loved the beach, especially Long Beach Island. She had a love for life – always dancing and making people laugh; her smile was contagious. Family was everything to Crissy. She loved to be surrounded by her family especially her nieces and nephews – hosting holidays and dinners. Her true joy and what she was most proud of were her beautiful daughters.

Predeceased by her beloved mother-in-law, Janet Cote; Crissy is survived by her husband of 28 years, John Monahan; her twin daughters, Casey and Megan; and her parents, George and Jean Johnson.  Crissy is one of five girls and is survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law, Laurie and Jason Hawkins, Debbie and Jimmy Romeo, Michele and Keith Long, and Kerri and Francis Legaspi. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews - Scott, Lauren, Brian, Christopher, Joseph, Dylan, Juliette, and Elizabeth, and her dear friend Kathleen Barrett, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, December 3 ^rd from 12-3pm with a service to begin at 3pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
