Christina Imhof (nee Murphy), 48, of Bordentown passed away Wednesday morning at St. Francis Medical Center. Born in Trenton, Christine spent her childhood in New Egypt and lived there until 1997 when she moved to Bordentown where she resided until her death. Christina spent a brief time as a volunteer EMT for both New Egypt and Hope Hose Humane in Bordentown and worked for many years in the retail industry. Christina was a free spirited person who loved her family and her friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Arthur Imhof of Bordentown; her mother, Margaret Murphy of Mercerville; two aunts, Bertha Rugarber of Vinton, VA and Kathleen Geihl of Hightstown; uncle, William Murphy of Hightstown; cousins, Mark Rugarber of Vinton, VA, Thomas Rugarber of Goodview, VA, James Geihl of Cocoa, FL and Timothy Geihl of Manchester, NJ as well as several nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Monday, October 17th at St. Mary's Church, Bordentown. Friends may call Sunday from 3-5pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Peppler Funeral Home.
