Cheryl Louise Vickey , 72, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ following an extended illness. Cheryl was born in Somerset Hospital on January 18, 1951. She grew up and spent the majority of her life in Bound Brook, NJ. She lived her final years in Bordentown, NJ with her devoted partner and the love of her life, Richard Perry.

Cheryl graduated from Bound Brook High School in 1969. Following graduation, she worked for many years as an administrative assistant for several companies, including Ortho and GAF.

Cheryl cherished her time with family. She loved large family gatherings and especially enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was an avid animal lover who adored her three dogs-Ludwig, Rodney and Kandy. During her spare time she could often be found visiting garage sales and flea markets or spending time crocheting. She also enjoyed playing board games, listening to music or just relaxing and watching movies with her Richard.

Cheryl was predeceased by her mother, Bertha Mae (Rodgers) Vickey, her father, Samuel Vickey and her sister, Linda (Vickey) Dow. Along with her beloved partner Richard, Cheryl is also survived by her two loving sisters Mary Ann Vannella (Robert) and Sandra Scalera; her nieces and nephews Daniel Vannella, Brian Vannella (Liz), Michael Dow (Carla), Jessica Stover (Matt), Kasey Dow and Alyssa Scalera and her beautiful great nieces and nephews Ivy, Mia Mae and Forest.

Cheryl possessed the biggest heart of gold, the most beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Services for Cheryl will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl's name to the ASPCA or the local animal shelter. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.
