Cheryl Ann Smolyn (nee Calu), 58, of Upper Freehold Twp., passed away Tuesday at her home. Born in Trenton, she was a graduate of Bordentown High School and lived in Upper Freehold for most of her life. Cheryl worked as a paralegal for Maselli Warren P.C. in Princeton and was a former member of the New Egypt Elks. Above all, Cheryl was a loving and caring wife and mother and adored her dogs, Daisy and Bailey.
Predeceased by her sister, Donna Marie Cardell; Cheryl is survived by her husband, Walter Smolyn, Jr.; her son, Brian Thomas Smolyn of Jackson; her daughters and son-in-law, Nicole Renee Smolyn of Allentown and Melanie Petunia and Marc Ribera of Jackson and her father, Andrew Miller.
A memorial service will be held 8pm on Friday, June 17th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. A visitation with the family will be held Friday from 6pm until the time of service. Interment will be held at a later date.
