Obituary

Charlotte G. (Cindy) Tindall, 76, of Allentown, passed away peacefully December 6, 2012 at RWJ Hamilton with her son, Frankie, as loving and loyal as always, and her daughter, Susie at her side.  She finally succumbed to the effects of the debilitating Rheumatoid Arthritis that had ravaged her body for many years.  Born Charlotte Genevieve White in Fountain Springs, PA on March 10, 1936, the seventh of eight children, she also lived in Easton PA, Princeton, Rocky Hill, and Robbinsville before moving to Allentown in 1968.  Charlotte was employed at many factory, office and waitress positions over the years, however her primary occupation was always as homemaker and devoted mother.  She also enjoyed playing the lottery and making trips to the casinos in Atlantic City, and more recently the Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA.

As a younger woman, Charlotte enjoyed dancing, roller coasters and large family gatherings.  She made a wicked potato salad, wonderful ice cream sundaes, and always had plenty of food on the table, even in lean times.  While not ""formally"" religious, she had a fierce belief in right and wrong, and was near perfect in her assessment of such.  As she aged, she never dyed her hair, never got too fat and always told the truth about her age (and everything else).  Mom had integrity and honesty, no matter what.

Charlotte was pre-deceased by her husband Frank H. Tindall, her mother Helen Meyers (nee Minnick), her father George White, four brothers George, Kenneth (Mike/Mickey), Wilbur, and Elmer White, and her sister Phyllis Heckman.  Charlotte is survived by her children, Susann Tindall Stilwell (Jeffrey) of San Jose, CA, Frank H. Tindall Jr. (Crystal Simicsak) of Allentown, and Kathy Lee Crook; her grandchildren, Connor and Anastasia Stilwell; a sister, Helen Povilaitis of Hightstown; a brother, Russell White (Linda) of Andreas, PA, and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Per her wishes, cremation was private without calling hours.  A memorial service may be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements by Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
