Charlotte B. Daley, 102, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at her home in Bordentown Township. Born in Bordentown, she was a vibrant member of the Bordentown community for her entire life. Charlotte belonged to the Bordentown Chapter #257 O.E.S., The Special Ladies, Widows of the Shriners, the Zonta Club of Trenton/Mercer, and, the First Presbyterian Church of Bordentown.
Daughter of the late Frank and Alice Buchanan, sister of the late Gladys Woolley and wife of 33 years to the late Allen Daley, she is survived by her beloved niece, Shirley H. Outtrim of Bordentown, her grandnephew, J. David Outtrim and his wife Elissa of West Chester, PA, her grandniece, Deborah A. Yarnell and her husband Scott of Great Falls, VA, and, four great-grandnieces and nephews, Kathleen G. and Megan R. Outtrim of West Chester and Bryden and Aaron Yarnell of Great Falls, VA. Charlotte graced the Bordentown community with her warm humor and service for over a hundred years. She will be deeply missed by all. Her family will especially miss her great spirit and sense of fun. ""Aunt Chotts' traveled the world her whole life, for pleasure and business, and was always ready for an adventure!
Funeral Services will be 11 am Monday, February 20 at the First Presbyterian Church, 420 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon from 3 to 6 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown.
