Charles H. Stanton, 84, of Fieldsboro, passed away Thursday April 10th at his home with his family by his side. Born in Sykesville, NJ, he was a lifetime area resident. He retired as a heavy equipment operator for M.E. Keating Inc., of Roebling. Mr. Stanton was very handy and enjoyed to garden and puzzles.

Son of the late Lloyd and Thelma Stanton, husband of the late Laura J. Stanton and brother of the late, John Stanton, he is survived by three son and daughters-in-law, Charles L. and Linda Stanton of Fieldsboro, Timothy K. and Connie Stanton of Florence and Joel E. and Sheila Stanton of Columbus; a daughter and her significant other, Melissa J. Sorenson and Dan Carmasino of Fieldsboro; a brother, William Stanton of Fieldsboro; a sister, Jean Wheeler and her husband Richard of Fieldsboro; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 9:30 until the time of service at the funeral home.
