Charles D. Standhope, 79, of Lakehurst, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Ocean County Medical Center in Brick. Born in Allentown on September 18, 1941, he was raised in Allentown before moving to Lakehurst where he has lived for most of his life. Charles worked as a maintenance worker for the Jackson Township School system for many years, but his real love was his trucks. He attended numerous car shows and was a member of the Saturday Night Cruisers. He will be missed by all.

Son of the late Carl and Addie Standhope, Charles is predeceased by his loving wife, Emma Standhope, his brother, Carl Jr., and his sister, Jennie Small. Charles is survived by his brothers and sister-in-law, Ralph and Betty Standhope of Whiting and Raymond Standhope of Tuscan, AZ as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Charles will be held 11am on Friday, December 18 ^th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. A visitation will be held from 10am until the time of service. Interment will follow in Allentown Methodist Cemetery.
