Charles S. Smentkowski, 53 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012.  Born in Neptune, NJ he traveled around the country for many years before settling in Chambersburg.  Charley loved to cook.  He enjoyed going to casinos and the racetrack and he formerly worked at the Meadowlands.

Predeceased by his grandmother Mable Goodwin and his nephew, Jason Morrissey, he is survived by his children, Joey Monk and Christina and Charles Smentkowski; parents, Pat and Charley Smentkowski; his siblings, John Smenthkowski, Linda and Leonard Morrissey, Sharon and Louis Tufano, Peggy Shea, Mary Jane Smentkowski and Steven and Tammy Smentkowski as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 2 pm on Sunday, December 23 ^rd at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main Street, Allentown.  Friends may call Sunday from 12 -2 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
