Charles H.F. Morris, Jr., 94, of Freehold, passed away Wednesday, October 28th at Applewood Estates in Freehold. Born in North Hampton, PA; he was a resident of Allentown for 41 years before moving to Applewood 17 years ago. In 1984, Charles retired from RCA in Princeton where he was employed for 50 years. He was a former active member of the Allentown Little League, a founder of Allentown Cubs Scouts, Troop 180 and a member of the Allentown United Methodist Church. Charles was also a past president of the Allentown Lions Club and a past president of the Allentown Public Library.
Charles was predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Grace Jean Morris and his brother Frank Morris; he is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Charles Morris of Dallas, OR; Barry and Joyce Morris of Southport, NC and Robert and Pat Morris of Supply, NC; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren as well as close members of the Deery family.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allentown United Methodist Church, 23 Church St. Allentown, NJ 08501. Arrangements under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
