Charles D. Moore, 86, of Mercerville, passed away early Sunday morning, June 14th at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton. Born in Trenton, he was a lifetime resident of the Trenton area. A WW II Army veteran, Charles worked for the Carpenters Local 31 for more than 50 years. He also worked as an auto racing photographer since 1946 and took pictures for the Area Auto Racing News of Trenton since 1963.

Son of the late Benjamin and Blanche Moore, Charles is survived by his wife Doris; son James; daughter-in-law Sandra; grandson Justin and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 17th from 6-8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home 114 South Main St. Allentown. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
