Charles F. Lesko, Jr. 77, of Wrightstown, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at his home. Born in Trenton to the late Amelia and Charles Lesko Sr., Charles resided in Central New Jersey throughout his life. He was a Steinert graduate, a proud US Sea Cadet, and he retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Transportation where he worked as a lineman and surveyor.

Charles always had a free and adventurous spirit - he enjoyed being on the move and experiencing life. Throughout, he kept a close-knit group of family and dear friends with whom he enjoyed visiting for a quick chat, sharing a meal, or watching a game, especially of his beloved LA Chargers.

Following in the footsteps of earlier Lesko generations, Charles was devoted to cars and motorcycles – often sneaking his bike out under the fence when he was young. Throughout his life, he would often take a drive just to enjoy the ride and the bucolic or coastal views on his favorite routes.

Charles was a creature of habit. He loved the beach and going to the movies. He also had a passion for the weather. As a weather watcher and tracker, he would often call his family and friends to share the latest weather conditions and prepare them for upcoming storms.

Charles truly loved people and had many friends around him; most of his closest relationships were with friends since high school. He genuinely wanted to help others and support his family--especially his nieces, with advice about life and healthy habits.

Predeceased by his parents, Charles is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Theresa Lesko; his sister and brother-in-law, Debby and Ed Krempecke; his nieces and their husbands, Lisa and Jeff Cunningham and Kathleen and Todd Hutchison and his great nieces.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 28th from 10am to 11:30am with a funeral service to begin at 11:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles’ name to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or at www.heart.org
