Charles Kovacs , 73, of Bordentown, passed away peacefully on October 24th, 2025, at his residence.
Born in Lawrence Township, Charles was a long-time resident of Bordentown and Roebling for over 35 years. He was a dedicated mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and proudly served his country as a member of the 4/112 Armored Division NJANG for over 20 years before his retirement.
In his free time, Charles was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, cheering on his beloved Eagles and Phillies and was a competitive bowler. In his youth as a Brother in the Order of Demolay, he recited The Flower Talk with great sincerity and precision. Above all, Charles's greatest joy in life came from his children and grandchildren, who meant the world to him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Predeceased by his parents, Carl and Catherine Kovacs, Charles is survived by his daughter, Tiffany and her husband Ryan Moody of Roebling; his son, Nicholas and his wife Ana Kovacs of Philadelphia; and his cherished grandchildren, Colton, Eleanor, and Cameron.
Funeral services for Charles will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, November 6th at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown. The viewing for Charles will be held from 9:30am until the time of service.Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown
