Charles H. Jenkins III, 89, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 with his beloved wife by his side. Born and raised in Audubon, NJ, Charles resided in Mt. Laurel most of his life before moving to the Masonic Home 5 years ago. He was a Photographer by trade and owned his own studio; Photography by Charles Jenkins III. Charles was a member of the National Guard and president of the South Jersey Ham Radio Association from 1957 until 1958. He loved radio controlled airplanes, camping and traveling with his family.
Predeceased by his parents; Charles H. Jenkins Jr. and Anna M. McCullough and his son, Douglas Jenkins, he is survived by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Elaine Anne Jenkins, he is also survived by his two sons; Charles & Connie Jenkins of Egg Harbor , NJ and Bob & Deborah Jenkins of Moorestown, and his granddaughter; Christina Shelley of Moorestown, NJ.
A memorial service for Charles will be held at 10a.m. on January 14th, 2017 at the the Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Rd. Burlington, NJ 08016. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Charles' name to the Masonic Charity Foundation, 902 Jacksonville Rd. Burlington, NJ 08016.Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
