Catherine "Kay" Taglieri, 93, of Ewing, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. The daughter of Irish immigrants, Kay was born in the Bronx, NY, where she attended St. Jerome's. As a young woman, she commuted into Manhattan where she was employed at Metropolitan Life. There she met her husband of over 50 years, Bill. They briefly resided in West New York and later moved to Old Bridge where they raised their family.

Kay enjoyed ordering a pizza and watching Turner Classics with her kids. She loved trips to the shore and dining out, her favorite being waterfront restaurants. Kay had a great sense of humor and was devoted to her family. She loved spending time with her children and provided them with many memories and lots of laughter.

Daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret Keavney, she was predeceased by her husband, William F. Taglieri, her son, William Lee Taglieri, and her son-in-law, Peter Dancer, and her sister, Peggy Sassano. Catherine is survived by her two sons, Daniel Taglieri and his wife Nancy Frenick and Richard Taglieri and his longtime partner, Carrie Villines; her daughter, Debra Dancer and her partner Tom Jones; her grandchildren, Isabella and Leland Taglieri; her niece, Laura Sassano and her nephews, Paul Sassano, Robert Sassano, and James Taglieri.

Services will be private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home.
