Catherine Ronan, 81, of Weaverville, NC, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 with her loving husband by her side.   Catherine grew up in Mansfield Twp. and graduated from William McFarland High School in Bordentown.  On April 15th, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart, Clarence.  They moved to Springfield Twp. where Catherine worked for the Township of Springfield as an assistant court clerk for many years before retiring to Weaverville, NC in 1990.

Daughter of the late David and Edna Hannah, and sister of the late Elsie Batterson and Horace Hannah, Catherine is survived by her husband of 61 years, Clarence L. Ronan;  her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Richard Swann of Weaverville, NC and Debra and Thomas Richford of Allentown;  her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Debbie Ronan  and a granddaughter, Mariko May Ronan, all of Bainbridge Island, WA; three sisters, Janet Murphy of Neptune, Margaret Wright of Whiting and Joan Warren of Browns Mills; three brothers and a sister-in-law, David Hannah of Statesville, NC, Jack and Edie Hannah of Columbus and Robert Hannah of Lenoir, NC; a sister-in-law Helen Graham of Allentown as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held 12 noon on Thursday, January 3rd, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main Street, Allentown.  Friends may call from 10am until the time of service.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365.
