Catherine A. Prettyman, 66 of Allentown, passed away Saturday, April 10, 2010 at CareOne of Hamilton. Born and raised in Trenton, she resided in Lawrence Twp. for most of her life before moving to Allentown 4 years ago. Catherine retired as a Pharmacy Technician at Grand Union where she worked for many years and was a former member of St. Ann's Church.

Daughter of the late Allen and Helen Conover Vandegrift, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Prettyman; a brother, Allen Vandegrift and a sister, Joan Wolfe. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Thomas J. Jr. and Donna Prettyman of Hamilton, Debra and Charles Toth of Cream Ridge and Joseph J. and Toni Marie Prettyman of Mansfield; her grandchildren, Thomas, III, Christopher and Matthew Prettyman, Stacy and Tyler Toth and Joseph Jr. and Michael Prettyman; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Richard and Heidi Vandegrift of Hamilton and Jake and Sue Vandegrift of Reading, PA; a sister-in-law, Patricia Vandegrift of Ohio; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Margaret Prettyman of Clearwater Fl as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Tuesday, April 13th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Rd. Allentown. Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville. Friends may call Tuesday from 8:30-10:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
