Catherine E. (Tesauro) Niwore, 88, of Robbinsville, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 at her home, with her daughter by her side. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime Robbinsville area resident. A longtime member of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Trenton, she was a wonderful homemaker who was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a founding member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Twp. Fire Department (now Robbinsville Twp.). Catherine was a great cook and enjoyed baking and crafting. Catherine's favorite pastime was spending time at the Jersey Shore, a place she loved, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Francesco and Carmella Tesauro, she was predeceased by her five siblings, Mary Cullaro, Joseph Tesauro, Anne Patrone, Gloria Gnant and Dominic Tesauro. She was also predeceased by her loving husband Anthony J. Niwore and by two sons, Anthony J. Niwore, II and Robert J. Niwore. Catherine is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathyann and Jim Lincoln; her sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Marlene Niwore, John and Sherri Niwore, and Michael Niwore; her grandchildren Anthony J. Niwore III and his wife Diane, Elizabeth Ford and husband Erick, Amanda Marshall and husband Tim, Kenneth Niwore II and wife Katelyn, Adam Niwore, Jackie Edwards and husband Matthew, Jeffery O'Rourke and his partner Alexis, Mallory O'Rourke, James Lincoln II, Matthew Lincoln and wife Zorangelee, Stephen Lincoln, Jessica Niwore, Christopher Niwore and 13 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many beloved friends and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Wednesday, January 15th from 10-11:30am with a funeral service to begin at 11:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Catherine's name to the American Cancer Society ( www.cancer.org ), the American Heart Association ( www.heart.org ) or to the Alzheimer's Association ( www.alz.org ).
